I figured it out. FYI, there was extra code in the functions.php file. I’m not sure where I copied the code from, but once I got rid of it, the widgets & the theme started playing together nicely.
This information is soooo close to what I need. I’m having problems getting the widgets to recognize & use the styles, so I want to see how the widgets are set up and make sure my styles cover them.
However, I don’t have “widgets.php” listed anywhere in my theme files. Is this somewhere else?
Just to prove I am trying hard to figure this out on my own…
I think I’m looking to find out how the sidebar widget outputs the code, so I can make sure my style sheet accounts for the headers and layout.
I have switched back to using the sidebar widgets, and everything but the RSS1 is working well, but the layout is still screwy.
So… help is still needed, please.
