Thank you for your reply. I’ve been there many times but the database in not visible. If I try to make one with the same name, it says the database already exists.

In reply to: Recover deleted database..?However, what you really need to do here is to go to cPanel and get the previous database name, table_prefix, SQL user and password to add in wp-config.php so you can simply use what you already had.
or what you are telling me here is to install a new database and change in the wp-config.php the new database name, table_prefix, SQL user and password?

No, you will likely just get an error message saying it already exists.
I’m trying to install it again and indeed it says it already exists. But also it says “Select the checkbox to overwrite all files and continue”….so what comes in my mind, can’t I just check this box, install the database and after that copy the old files into ftp?
