• Hello,
Few days ago i deleted from cPanel the website http://cramadomneasca.net/. It was here (see the image)

I just pressed the big red X button (i didn’t made a clone or something).

I deleted also the ftp files.

Now I have to put it online..I recovered the ftp files and uploaded them. If you go to cramadomneasca.net there’s this message “Error establishing a database connection” which is obvious, because I deleted it (I think?). Now I want to reinstall it but I’m afraid to make a database with the same name because it will overwrite the old one and lose all the data (?)

    I don’t know if I am right, that’s why I need your help 🙂
I need that website up and running.

    Thanks in advance!

  • I would suggest asking your web host to see if having them restore your database is a possibility. First, you should check with them to see if you did indeed delete your database. If you did, and they can’t restore it, then, unfortunately, you will have to start over with a fresh version of WordPress. All of your posts, pages, categories, users, tags, links, options, and custom fields are stored in the database and not in your site’s files.

Thank you for your answer. When I try to make a database in MySQL Database with the same name as before, it says the database already exists…this might be an error of the cPanel because I don’t see the database…or maybe I don’t have full rights.
