In reply to: Reader Submission FormThat’s what I did. I went in and changed the form to use as a method for bands to submit to a music site I run. Tricky to edit, but it can be done.

In reply to: Selling commercial themes?Well, it’s tricky. But look at it this way. He is getting paid to create custom designs, images, themes, etc. Shouldn’t he be compensated for his time? For his work?
I see no issues with what he is doing at all.

In reply to: Removing Date and Category from Pages ?You have to dig into the php for the page in question. You’ll see the call in the php for the date or the category. I see you’re using a customized style based on a style based on a style. So…I’d not be able to tell you which file to look in.
If you are referring to an actual page, like one you create, as opposed to a single-post page, it could be in a file called page.php.
All depends on how the theme is set up. You might want to contact the creator.

In reply to: Posts that only appear in sidebarWell, you could always use the theme K2 (available at BinaryBonsai.com) or Squible (available at Squible.com). Both make aside implementation (whether in content or sidebar) easy as pie.

In reply to: Category/user specific entry backgroundsYou know, I don’t know how to do that, but I hope someone out there does, because I like the idea.

In reply to: looking for theme with buttons on topTom, rather than refer to you any number of such themes (there are a lot), I’d send you to a WP theme gallery:
http://themes.wordpress.net/
where you can see each theme in action.Forum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: One Category as Index?Not sure, Zagg. I’d suggest you contact Denis (the plugin’s designer). He’s a great guy (who makes amazing plugins and a great theme) and can probably point you in the right direction.

In reply to: http://www.cocomment.comThis thing kicks so much ass I can’t take it. It doesn’t work well with k2, but there’s a fix-it hack to make your k2 site compliant out there.

In reply to: Font sizesOpen up Style.css in the Sapphire theme folder. Open it with a text editor or css editor. Look for two bits of code:
h2 {
font-size: 1.6em;
}and
.entry p, .entrytext {
font-family: Georgia, serif;
font-size: 1.3em;
line-height: 1.5em;
text-align: left;
}The first is the post title font. The second the post content font. Change the font size number up or down (1.0em, .9em, etc) to change the size.
Hope this helps.
