In reply to: 2.0.4 backup failed with wp-cronThank’s a lot sdeasy,
i believe the problem is solved after your precious issue 😉Forum: Plugins
In reply to: 2.0.4 backup failed with wp-cronYes, just tried this three processes, monitoring in ssh what’s happened. Backup is created in folder backup-xxxx, then mail is sent, finally the file is deleted.
All works fine if I make the backup manually…the problem is wp-cron. I have only wp-db-backup and wp-cron in the folder /plugin.

In reply to: 2.0.4 backup failed with wp-cronThe dump file is correctly written on the file system because if I make a manual backup with option send mail, all works fine. The backup file is temporarily written in the backup-xxxx folder, then it is sent by email and destroyed from file system.
The problem is only the scheduled backup with wp-cron. It’s very strange because wp-cron could exec the operations in wp-db-backup, isn’t so?

In reply to: Fresh installation of WP 2.0.2 is very slowThank you for your support arnee but this is not a cache problem, i wrote to my hosting support and they deleted the cache folder for me, so now I’ve a completely new installation of WordPress, but the problem is still there…
I suppose the problem could be a bottle neck in the intercontintal connection (I’m trying from Italy and the hosting service is in USA).
So someone can try the connection from USA to test the speed connection?

In reply to: Fresh installation of WP 2.0.2 is very slowThx for your answer samboll,
I can’t delete my cache folder because the owner is the Apache user “httpd” and i haven’t grants for deleting it.However i tried to install another fresh copy in another domain (the official site) of the same hosting service and the problem persists… so i don’t think the problem is the cache folder.
