I rolled back to Yoast 15.6 but that did not fix the missing Edit Snippets tab – very strange…
@onlyincebu : thanks for your reply. I made the changes as you asked, but the missing “Edit Snippets” section is still missing : I have deactivated the only 4 plugins I have ( https://i.imgur.com/UGDPNXr.png ) , and activated default theme Twenty-Twenty . I also logged out of admin and logged in again. No success.
So, last try for me is to upgrade the php version of my server ( I had a php message saying “WordPress has detected that your site is running on an insecure version of PHP.” in the admin panel ) – but I doubt this was the cause. (I will update if I fix it with the PHP version upgrate).
Edit – Actually I cannot update to php 7.4 because it would break my Prestashop (other) site. So my PHP version is 7.1 but I believe this is not the problem.
I will go back to the previous version of Yoast see hat happens. Otherwise I will have to consider another option for my needs. Thanks.
