PS– my issue was with the plug-in named Advanced Permalinks. After you do the above steps, you are free to delete the Advanced Permalinks plug-in.
This has been resolved. It was an issue with permalinks. Here is the link that helped me solve my problem 🙂
First, download the plug-in WordPress SEO by Yoast, then follow these instructions:
