thank you so much for answering personally to my query.
I had the “External Book API” enabled to corresponding setting. (I checked again – with the plugin reinstalled and making sure all settings are aligned but still no Fetch book cover button.
However, since I’ve been getting a warning class-wp-query.php with the plugin installed I have deinstalled it altogether and have entered the book covers manually.

Hm, you’re right. I checked on another computer, and there they don’t appear either. On mine they do though (emptied cache). If I have added them I did it unintentionally.
