Sorry about the delayed response.
Make sure the option selected under the “External Book API” setting also is enabled in the corresponding setting.

thank you so much for answering personally to my query.
I had the “External Book API” enabled to corresponding setting. (I checked again – with the plugin reinstalled and making sure all settings are aligned but still no Fetch book cover button.
However, since I’ve been getting a warning class-wp-query.php with the plugin installed I have deinstalled it altogether and have entered the book covers manually.

I have the same problem. With the extension “Fetch book cover” enabled the “Fetch”-button next to the Cover field (in the sidebar) does not appear at all. In htlm page code I read input hidden type tag, but value attribute is null. I read rcno-fetch-book-cover file and get_post_meta function doesn’t seem to work.
Fetch button next to ISBN field appears and works, but doesn’t get description.

With the “Fetch Book Cover” enabled it does not any new buttons to the review editor. What it does it automatically fetch the book cover if one is available via the Gr API.
Also, the fetch feature display information if it is available via the API, so if information is missing, its because that information is not available.
