In reply to: [Image Caption Hover] How to control flip speedHi, Rameez
I’m not asking for a plugin fix – more so a fix on your demo site for the free version so that it accurately reflects the actual flipping speed (very fast).
Currently, the flipping speed demo-ed on the free version is actually available only on the pro version, not the free version.

In reply to: [EventCalendar] Map not showing locationI just want to add that this is now working on my site.
All I did was to re-enter (by typing) the address I wanted. Cutting-and-pasting the address did not work – the pasted address would show on the bar, but the map does not refresh to show this address.

In reply to: [EventCalendar] How to centre content of venue pageHi, Sona
Thanks. I can do both #1 and #2 now.
For #3, what I want to do is show the full event entry on the page, thus necessitating NO scroller at all.
I tried the following: 800px for width and 1000px for length, but to no avail:
.ecwd-venue-events {
height: 1000px !important;
width: 800px !important;

In reply to: [EventCalendar] Map not showing locationHello
I am encountering the same problem: the venue address that I type in does not get shown on the map.
My site is a subsite in a multisite WP install. None of the subsites use a mapping plugin.
My site is not live yet.

In reply to: [Image Caption Hover] How to control flip speedHi, Rameez
Thanks for the prompt response.
You have a nice plugin and forking out $10 for the pro version (which I will) is worth it.
I do wish to point out, however, that I feel like being taken to a “bait and switch”.
This is the demo page for the free version: http://webcodingplace.com/image-caption-hover-demo/. Note that the flips are elegant (like in the pro version) and nowhere near the “cartoonish” (too fast) flips that are actually made available with the free plugin. The demo page misleads in this (ie flip speed) aspect.
You have a great product, so a “bait and switch” to generate revenue is unnecessary.

In reply to: [EventCalendar] How to centre content of venue pageThanks, Sona.
I’ve just tried all the three sets of codes.
1 – The first set to centre the page’s content isn’t working for me.
2 – The second set now enables me to remove the event info altogether from the page.
3 – The third code to adjust the size of the window showing event info isn’t working for me.
I wonder what other people’s experiences are? Am I the only one unable to make #1 and #3 work?

A better approach could be to do some troubleshooting as per AO’s FAQ to see if the problem is with JS or CSS and to exclude just the right CSS or JS-files from optimization? 😉
///////////////////////////////////////////////////Hi, Frank
Actually, the path I chose is not only the “better approach” for me; it is THE BEST APPROACH. I realise that you do not have the full info of my case’s circumstances, and this led you to the conclusion that my chosen approach is sub-optimal.
The theme that I’m using on the site has actually reached end-of-life and will no longer be updated by the developer. This means that I will have to move to another theme soon. So the solution I was seeking was only ever going to be temporary. I wasn’t going to expend more grey cells and time than necessary for this. So, sorry, no CSS, JS, etc troubleshooting for me, thanks.
In fact, the problem was/is the theme, not Autoptimize. But I cannot afford to let go of the theme yet, can I? So Autoptimize it had to be.

In reply to: [Tabs Responsive - With WooCommerce Product Tabs Extension] Tabs don't workOK, I finally got this sorted out.
The site where I had the problem had a Wootheme with Autoptimizer.
The two sites where it works fine use Genesis themes and Autoptimizer.
So I just disabled Autoptimizer on the first site and the plugin works perfectly now.

In reply to: [Tabs Responsive - With WooCommerce Product Tabs Extension] Tabs don't workHello – I’ve tried your plugin on two other sites – and it works fine in both. So there’s something on the current site that’s causing the problem. I’ll see if it’s a plugin conflict.

In reply to: [EventCalendar] How to centre content of venue pageThanks for getting back promptly.
1 – The site is not live yet, that’s why I gave a link to a pic of the page. I am happy to give you log in credentials to the development site. Where/how do I send them to you?
2 – The questions about parameters refer to the iframe. I meant the parameters of the iframe – width, length, scrolling, etc
Hello
Any luck with this? It’s been two weeks since your last post.
I’m wondering – am I the only one encountering the problem that I’m encountering?
Regards,
MishedHello
I just checked the log on my trial site and I can see that nobody’s logged into it except myself.
I realise that you’re quite busy and all, but also just need to know if I should wait for the resolution of this issue or if I should consider looking at other options (which I haven’t done, believing this is a minor issue that can be fixed fairly quickly, or at least won’t take that long to fix).
I’m evaluating this product as a potential standard tool for all my clients requiring an online booking tool.
It works fine on your demo site, but not on mine. So, clearly, the problem is somewhere in my set up. Unfortunately, I am unable to troubleshoot this myself.
