In reply to: Recently published changes not taking effectHostPapa have replicated the issue at their end and confirm the same. They say it seems to be due to the mod security rule getting triggered while updating the changes. Awaiting resolution.

In reply to: Recently published changes not taking effectRight, but I thought Flushing or emptying the caches would load refreshed pages. Note: I was having this problem before I installed the Cache plugin.

In reply to: Recently published changes not taking effectI understood it to speed up loading of website.
I installed it as an attempted ‘fix’ for this problem – read it on the internet somewhere – may have misunderstood – not too savvy and never had a problem before.

The recent changes are: 1. On the home page I changed the name of the chair from Mike Singleton to Paul McDowell and 2. on the News and Events page it should show a new post titled Healthy Minds Healthy Bodies.
These changes both show up correctly if I access my site from WordPress admin and the pages have been “updated”, but they do not show up if I access direct from my browsers or other computers.

In reply to: New Tabs in explorerOkay, got it 🙂 I had not published. Now I have published and it is working as expected – only the one tab switching between edit and view.
Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: New Tabs in explorerThanks for the reply, appreciated. It just did not seem right to me that if I edit and preview 10 times in a row that I would have ten tabs open at the same time.
MikeForum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: New Tabs in explorerJust confirmed this is not an IE issue as I get the same behavior in Chrome. Switching to preview each time opens a new tab then when switching back to edit it puts me editing the new tab and leaves the previous one open. So what did I mess up during install?
