Yes, Its tricky to handle 1 product to be packed in multiple boxes scenario.
As an alternative, In the premium version of the plugin, we have weight based packing. Products will be split into multiple boxes based on Max weight. Refer the documentation.
We will keep enhancing the plugin to have more Packing options in future.

I recommand you to enable debug mode from admin settings to find out the error. Also check your admin setiings with origin county,state, zip code etc.

This free basic plugin is for small shop owners. So unfortunately for this basic version label creation is not available as feature.
But our premium version this plugin have label creation feature.

Assign a free shipping class to your products. Now get that shipping class id. If that shipping class is not available in your cart then hide shipping method. And you can achieve that with using my snippet.

Thanks for your review and for the features you have recommended.
But can you please clarify ‘Support for multiple boxes per SKU’ scenario a bit more ? because we already have box packing algorithm in our premium version. And both other two features are already in our future enhancement list.

If you have upgraded WC, after installing the plugin, then it is recommended to deactivate the plugin and activate it again. WooCommerce latest version is having such cache sometimes. SO it needs to be refreshed. And also check your rate matrix.Forum: Plugins

Unfortunately, we have not added this method to Shipping Zones section. If we add this to shipping zone then users have to set it for each and every zone, no main settings available. Which is a bit annoying situation for many users.

Are you using our basic version or premium ?
If it is basic version then it packs items individually only.
Our premium version is having the box packing functionality. If you are using premium then please raise a ticket here. Our technical team is always there to help resolving issues.

If you create some zone and select some specific shipping methods for it, then only those methods will occur on the cart page when shipping address is from that given zone.
If you don’t have such specific zonal business then I would like to suggest you to delete all zones and keep it as WC default. As ‘rest of the world’ will have all the methods.

Unfortunately, in zone list of WC 2.6 our shipping method will not occur. Because if we add it there then for multiple zones users have to enter all the settings separately for each zone. And that a bit complex for users. So instead of adding that we have kept the master settings. But by creating shipping matrix you can fetch those rates to front-end. Please let us know whether you are having any issue on that.
And we can’t go into your back office, those services is only for premium versions.

Yes, in our basic version items is packed individually. As this plugin is for small business owners and most of those intends to have one item in cart at a time. But in our premium version, you can have box packing functionality as well as weight based packing.
