I am still having some issues. for instance, if a product is a variable product with more than one variable, it does not display the variable.
so, for a product that is like a shirt with 4 sizes, packing list will display
Product name – size
but if it has 4 sizes and 4 colors, then packing list just displays
Product name
this is a huge issue. maybe i need to start a separate thread.

I was able to get the plugin to work again by deactivating and reactivating… but then it seemed like some of the formatting and options I had previously set up were gone. Looks like there must have been an overhaul on the plugin that didn’t play nicely on upgrade? It was a little frustrating to have to stop and reconfigure the plugin in the middle of shipping orders but it is working again.

right, so why not have the plugin generate a maintenance.php file that matches the plugin’s design and content settings? this would make it simple to deal with. if the plugin does not have permissions enough to drop the file where it goes, it could be a downloadable file that the administrator ftps into position… but having it use the same css and settings as the plugin maintenance mode would bring things together full circle.

you’ve pasted this same “response” into every thread, but it does little to address the issue and really doesn’t come close to apologizing for or making up for the short notice. really unprofessional.
personally I’m now looking to replace wordfence with something more trustworthy.
really lame move by the developers. It’s like they don’t know what it’s like to run many sites that will all, at once, start runnign more slowly… or how that will affect our client relationships.
this will cost me and my clients money to resolve… with no notice and no explanation.
