In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Accessibility Enhancements NeededHi Amber,
Many thanks for the helpful review. I’m glad to see the work we have done on accessibility (the result of many previous audits over the past 8 or so years) has been recognised.
I will review your suggestions and look forward to further enhancing the accessibility of MMM in our upcoming updates.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Mobile Menu not Clickable in GD Starter ThemeHi slavys,
Do those menus work if you disable MMM?
I think you would need to use custom CSS to hide them. Then, add those links (the ones you’d expect to see in the now hidden menus) to your main menu (the one controlled by MMM), and for each of those menu items enable the “Hide on desktop” option.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] How to Always Show Top MenuHi kchlus,
That is called a Sticky Menu and it is possible to do with the Pro addon.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Mobile-only navigation menuHi Annajet,
It is technically possible, but not “out of the box” (you would need to make code modifications to your theme). I think you may be better off looking at a dedicated mobile menu plugin, as MMM is primarily designed for desktop.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Update to WP6.8.3 Max Mega Menu dont workHi Reggio,
You would need to restore a backup (it does give a warning when you use that option).

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Update to WP6.8.3 Max Mega Menu dont workHi,
It looks like the CSS is not being loaded. Please go to Mega Menu > Tools and clear the CSS cache, then clear any caching plugins or CDNs you have active.
If you still have problems please post a link to your site so I can take a look (I will not be able to provide further guidance without being able to debug the issue directly on your site).

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Shortcode in megamenuHi Josh,
There weren’t any database changes in the latest update for Max Mega Menu, so it seems like the issue wasn’t introduced in the latest update to Max Mega Menu. Given it was working before, it might have been caused by a theme update, a change in beaver builder or a change in the way the theme is setup (my guess is something has changed so the shortcode isn’t registered by the time the menu is processed).
If we get any other reports of shortcodes no longer working in the menu (we haven’t had any so far) I will take a closer look, right now I am not sure of the impact of applying ‘the_content’ filter to the widget output, it has not been necessary previously so I’d prefer not to add it to resolve an isolated case. I am glad you have found a solution that works for your setup.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Shortcode in megamenuHi Josh,
Thanks for reporting this. There haven’t been any similar reports so far, so I think it might be isolated to your installation/beaver builder.
A few questions:
- Can you use WP Rollback to install the previous version of Max Mega Menu and double check the issue is only present in the latest update? I can’t think of any changes in the latest update that would cause this.
- I take it you are adding the shortcode in a widget within a mega sub menu? What type of widget are you pasting the shortcode into? If you are using a text widget, you might need this code (depending on your theme): https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/use-shortcodes-in-text-widget/.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] CSS compilation failedHi laueasydom,
Ok, sorry about that, I am not sure why that error is coming up, I am running the same version on megamenu.com.
Please delete/reinstall the standard 2.6.2 version.
I have now signed up to wordpress.com and I can see the error, so I’ll debug on there and get back to you with an update.
Regards,
Tom
