Hey @davidfonsbo,
Thanks for bringing this up! We do have an option in the pro version of the plugin (Grow Social Pro) to set a post custom Pinterest image for every post. You’re then able to specify the Pinterest button behavior to only pin that specific image instead of the images from the post’s content.
If you’re interested in that type of sharing content customization, I’d check out more on Grow Social Pro here.

In reply to: [Create] Use of LIKE ‘%%%s%%’I just wanted to do a quick follow-up since I talked with our plugin developers, it looks like the good news is we have a fix already in place for this in our next release of Create.

In reply to: [Create] How exactly does this plugin work with a page builder? When it comes to Create, you’ll create posts like you normally do with either the Gutenberg/Classic editors or using a page builder like Thrive Architect or Elementor.
When using Gutenberg/Classic, we do have some options added to those editors that allow you to embed the Create cards within that specific post but if you’re using a page builder like Thrive Architect you’ll like need to embed your Create cards using the shortcode provided in the cards themselves.
You can find more information about that here:

In reply to: [Create] Use of LIKE ‘%%%s%%’Hey @craigfrancis,
Thanks so much for reaching out! We’ll go ahead and pass this information on to our plugin developers to have them take a look. 🙂
Hey @nomadandinlove,
Just following up on this one here but it looks like we were able to take care of this through your email to support.
If you need anything else please don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know!

In reply to: [Create] Image missing in FirefoxHey @iwilkerson,
Thanks so much for reaching out and sorry for the delay! I took a look at the recipe card in the link you provided and it looks like I’m seeing Create’s header image showing up great in both Chrome and Firefox so it looks like things are working as they should on my end.
Just out of curiosity, are you still experiencing any issues with this? If so, could you try accessing your site in an incognito window to see if the same behavior occurs?
Additionally, if you’re still experiencing issues with this, feel free to reach out to us directly and create@mediavine.com and we’ll be more than happy to dig into this further!

In reply to: [Create] An error after the latest plugin updateHey @thehealthfulideas,
Thanks so much for reaching out and letting us know about this (and so sorry about the delay here).
I tried reproducing a similar experience on my end by adding some alt text and descriptions to the images in the Media Library as well as testing the images being used in the Create card.
So far, we haven’t yet been able to reproduce this issue on plugin updating but if you’re still experiencing any issues with this feel free to reach out to us using create@mediavine.com and we’ll be more than happy to dig in deeper there!
Hey @wizlove,
Sorry for the delay here and thanks so much for reaching out! I took a look at the screenshots provided and as far as the missing inline content styles in the settings, that’s not something we’ve come across yet before so that’s pretty interesting.
Just to test things out, would you be able to try completely removing the plugin and redownloading and installing it from the Plugins page to see if that gets things up and running?
Additionally, were you able to test if the buttons would appear if you temporarily switched to a default WordPress theme (such as Twenty Twenty-One or Twenty Twenty-Two)?

In reply to: [Create] Ratings in CommentsHey @rbennett,
Thanks so much for reaching out! Just to clarify, are you looking to have something like ratings stars integrated with the actual comments themselves?
If so, that’s not something currently possible with Create’s settings but may be something we consider adding in the future. 🙂

In reply to: [Create] Trouble Editing RecipeHey @pestep,
Thanks so much for reaching out and sorry for the delay here! Just to give you an overall idea of what happened here, it looks like Chrome had an update recently (to version 105) that broke some of the functionality in the editor that we use for Create.
In order to fully fix something like this, we’re waiting for an update from the creators of that editor so we can then implement a fix on Create’s side of things.
For now, we recently released an update (1.9.2) that should take care of most of the instances where you will see this issue occur. Just as a heads up, you may see this when first adding a card into a post but once you add the card and refresh the page it should fix things up.

In reply to: [Create] Critical ErrorHey @jamonkey,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about the issues! If at all possible, would you be able to send an email to our support team at create@mediavine.com along with a copy of the errors you were receiving when you activated the plugin?
Once done we’ll be happy to take a look and see what could be causing the issue! Alternatively, you can also paste the errors here in this thread and we can take a look.
Hey @rovingfoleys,
Thanks so much for reaching out! I took a look on my side and it looks like the inline buttons are all correctly lined up on my side of things.
It’s possible you may have figured things out already but usually whenever we see something like this it has to do with some styles coming from either the plugin or theme that’s overriding some styles set for the Pinterest button.
If you’re still having issues feel free to let us know!
Hey @rbennett,
Thanks for reaching out! When it comes to using the shortcode to place buttons, that’s something that currently is available only for the Pro version of the plugin. Since this site is using the non-Pro version the shortcodes won’t function.

In reply to: [Create] CTA for leaving reviews is not workingHey @sahaysagar1,
Thanks for reaching out! I tested out the page you linked and so far when I click the review button in the CTA at the bottom, I’m prompted to leave a review as expected. Are you still experiencing any issues there?
As for leaving a rating without putting in any details, by default we make it so reviews 3 stars and lower will require the reader to fill out some information before the review is left. This is done to try and help combat spam/fake reviews. We don’t have an option currently to remove that behavior (the only other option will enable ALL reviews to have details filled out).
