Example (from personal experience):
1. To download a file, such as Trial Trial, a visitor has to fill the request (contact) form.
2. Instead of getting instant download, an email with email verification link is sent.
4. Following successful verification the visitor would be sent another email, this time with the download link.
What a way to irritate potential customer?
I think this is good for (free) membership application, or sign up for (free) monthly newsletter.
The Dropdown is working. The Email is also working. Your are super. Thanks.
Happy New Year greetings to all.
Thank you for the out-of-focus code. The code works on Short Text field. However, it is not working on Email, Long Text and Dropbox fields (have not tested on all fields). The on-focus code is not working on Long Text field.
Thank you @dt4il and @thethemefoundry.
It works when the field has focus. The title, however, does not stay put when the field is out of focus (both the title and text is inside the placeholder).
The link is updated with demo and comments.
(Fun to ‘play’ with HappyForms!)
Thank you for the quick reply.
It would be wonderful if it is possible to have more ‘control’ over the ‘validates Email part’ – like option to place it to the right, and able to have placeholder text.
Thank you.
(I ‘messed’ with the HappyForms over the weekend … It is a wonderful product.)
