In reply to: WordPress “cache_lastpostdate” PHP Code InsertionThanks for being another person who doesn’t seem to get the idea of looking to see if this has been posted already, or posting it to the right places. The right people have known for days.

In reply to: Feeds not validatedWhat kind of validation? The title says feeds, but your post looks like it could be the XHTML. There are all kinds of resources out there, and it takes a bit of learning to get to having a valid site, so don’t get discouraged.

In reply to: 1.5.1.3 – remote code execution 0-DDAAYY exploitThe line should resolve the issue on apache servers. A better solution is to tell your host that register_globals should be off in php.ini, and it will greatly improve their security.

In reply to: 1.5.1.3 – remote code execution 0-DDAAYY exploitThat’s interesting, because at no point have the WP developers ever shown this type of characteristic. I’d like to see even one known exploit that the devs refuse to fix.

In reply to: Live Press 1.5.1.3 Moldy Banana ReleaseYour problem is indeed in the linebreaks. I didn’t check all the files, but I at least know that LivePress.php is a mix between Unix, Mac, and DOS style line endings (\n, \r, and \r\n respectively). Try using a sane text editor for Mac (I highly recommend TextMate) where you can specify the line endings type and _always_ use LF(unix). I also recommend using a sane zipping program, maybe zip on the commandline, since the __MACOSX directories are a hassle.

In reply to: Localizing clean URLsActually, this sounds like a lot of a bug to me, and I’ll be sure to pass it on to the right people. In the mean time, line 1061 of classes.php has the pages/ that you can change to what you like. The other rewrite rules are in that general area also.
