Hi Amjad,
We’re using the Brevo integration to shunt the WPForms data from our website as emails to our admin email account since we already have Brevo in our DNS records. We looked into using WP Mail SMTP for that (and had installed that plug-in to check it out), but determined that since the Brevo integration was able to handle that our low volume of emails, it wasn’t necessary to add an additional tool into that mix and complicate our DNS records even more for our single email account. And it had been working perfectly until a couple days ago when our website started telling users that their submissions were being processed, but we weren’t receiving the emails from the forms anymore. It turned out that there was a minor hiccup with the Brevo services on Monday morning that corrupted one of the settings with our account. The Brevo support folks knew exactly what had happened when I reached out to them and they were able to restore the correct setting and our forms immediately started working again.
Just for background, we’re a small all-volunteer community arts group that just launched our website in late April along with our email newsletter services via Brevo. We’re currently using the free tiers for just about everything as we are getting established and gaining funding support. Ultimately, we’ll be migrating to paid plans for many of those services (likely in early 2027) once we have a better understanding of our needs (and have the funds to pay for them) and as community expands.Since we’re not handling sales, selling tickets, or accepting donations online YET, the limited free tier services are meeting our immediate needs as we gauge which paid tiers and services we’ll utilize in the next year with the expected grants funding. For now, the volume of inbound emails from the two WPForms we currently have on our website is very modest (a few per day) and one of those two WPForms is for an event with a submission deadline of next week and once that deadline passes, we’ll remove that application form and only have the one, very basic WPForms “contact us” form active. So our needs are VERY basic at the moment.
