Same issue here. I have my event list separated into “featured” events (designated with a tag) and committee meetings (a category). When I converted the committee meetings to recurring events, the categories are still there, but filtering the list by them no longer works. I’m going to try adding a committee-meeting tag to see if that will work — otherwise, I’ll have to go back to repeating events. This seems like core functionality. Disappointed that recurring events were rolled out without it.
