When you click on add facebook account from plugin page, you will see a popup where you fill all the app details. After you click authorize, you will be redirected to a page when you need to approve the app and after allow the app to manage your pages.

The plugin is able to select the facebook page instead of the personal account but you most allow the application to manage your pages. After you authorize it, you will receive a notification where you need to allow that.

This has to do with your internal wordpress settings regarding the permalinks. We have nothing to do with it. You can check if you have any plugin that alter the permalink of your posts and disable it.
