In reply to: Missing Static Page option on Settings–>Readingesmi, yes I have. I haven’t installed any plugins yet and haven’t even activated the plugins that come with WordPress. Also, using any theme including Twenty Eleven still leaves the Settings–>Reading “Front Page Displays” completely MIA.
I’m at a complete loss. Even reinstalling WordPress for a third time hasn’t helped.

In reply to: [Plugin Sharepress] Setup can't connect to facebookSorry @aaroncollegeman, using IE fixed the problem. Even with the pop-up blocker disabled in Chrome, I couldn’t get it to work in that browser. Firefox gave me some problems too so I just used IE.

In reply to: [Plugin Sharepress] Setup can't connect to facebook@aaroncollegeman Yes, I verified all of the domain information and secret stuff. It was all correct and will not connect. It still cycles for a long time on the “Connecting” to Facebook part of the installation without getting anywhere.
