Sorry you have total idiots like MArc as your members. With freaks like this, who needs enemies? 🙂
Your Honor, I rest my case.
I believe you’re right, it’s Word Press.com with whom I would like to speak. Does anyone know if there are real people within that organization whom I can contact?
I notice that Matt Mullenweg is listed on their site, but his cell phone number does not work,
You gotta be kidding me! Are you so blind with rage your name appears on a blog you can’t see and read the advice offered above?
There is nothing, I repeat nothing, WP.org or WP.com can assist you with.
And BTW hysterical ranting over silly nonsense like this probably led Matt to discontune his cell service at that number.
You might also try to Google your name so your “lawyer” can chase down the hundreds, if not thousnds, of other references to your name on the web.

In reply to: Gravatars location on commentsIt looks to be a IE problem. The gravatars display ok in Firefox and Flock. Off hand looking at your grav style I don’t see the problem but maybe someone more experianced with IE/Firefox display issues will see it. Your grav style is listed below.
.gravatar {
float: left;
margin: 2px 10px 6px 0px;
background-color: #ffffff;
border: 1px solid #dddddd;
padding: 2px;

In reply to: Crash during comments.php editingStrange indeed. I checked the cache.php file and it is there, same for the fancy tooltips file.
I logged a ticket with my host about an hour ago. And your right their first response will be “Who us!”
It’s happened before and in fact attempted to blame WP on two occasions. After they were pointed to a relavant thread here they put on their “sheepish grins” and corrected the problem.

In reply to: Crash during comments.php editingpodz did you have a chance to look at that error file?

In reply to: Crash during comments.php editingNot sure how to change theme from the DB, maybe you can point me in the right direction.
Here is the pastebin file of the error log. As you can see it has a lot but it’s mostly Greek to me.
The line that reads “client denied by server…etc” has me thinking it’s time to contact my host, however there are two other blogs under this domain and they both operate normally.
Thanks podz.

In reply to: Problem opening blog with Firefox?Sorry, I understand your solution. However it makes no sense considering my host has made no changes to the php.ini file to create the problem.
This is directly related to the change from FF 1.5 to FF 1.5.0.1. And frankly this problem, and one that has the latest ver also return many “unable to locate host” and similar, has me on the edge of tossing FF in the trashcan.

In reply to: Problem opening blog with Firefox?No surprise.
With a bit of luck maybe someone will come along with and answer for the problem.

In reply to: Problem opening blog with Firefox?Let me guess, you are using FF ver 1.5.0.1?
Since upgrading from FF 1.5 to 1.5.0.1 I have had similar problems. Access to the admin page works ok, but whenever I post an entry or update one I receive the same pop-up. In my case it asks if I desire to open the file in Dreamweaver because it is installed on my machine.
The entry or update is recorded and displayed but it still is a major pain in the rear dealing with it.

In reply to: Can’t find WordPress.com API keyAt present there is only one way. You must sign up for a WP.com blog. Once you have that use the API for that blog on newsonic.
You can utilize the .com blog or just delete it once you have the key.
