Sorry, but since it is not coming from our plugin we cannot be positive. I would suggest maybe reaching out to CF7 and the Download monitor and asking about a confirmation email being sent. If you have any other questions in regards to our plugin please let us know.

EBD is using standard wp functionality to send emails. The issue should have something to do with your email system or system internals. Could you also please provide us the following information on the page you are experiencing issues on:
1. Shortcode and a URL showing the WordPress Download Monitor working successfully
2. Shortcode and a URL showing the Contact Form 7 working successfully
3. Shortcode and a URL showing the Email Before Download failing/succeedingForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Email Before Download] No inline link appears upon form submissionA fix is needed for the AJAX queries on your site. Currently, when you submit the form it’s reloading the page. Contact Form 7 requires ajax to be working.

Are you using a plugin for receiving a confirmation e-mail with client information (name, society etc..)? Because EBD does not send a confirmation email with the following details? Asking this question to possibly determine if that is causing the issue.

Thanks for reaching out. We are not sure if we are understanding the issue you are experiencing correctly. Are you stating that the link in the email is invalid because it attaches “E-mailTHe” before the link? Also if you could provide us with the following just to verify the plugin is configured correctly? Could you maybe provide more info such as the URLS that are experiencing issues?

Currently, it looks like you are using a custom CF7 shortcode for the email field. The shortcode/settings for this field should be the default. If you go within the CF7 form you are using, please make sure the email field is like the following(Label name can be whatever you want, the [email* your-email] must remain default):

On the page that is not working, it happening because CF7 is reloading the page and it should not be. Ajax is not functioning properly on this page. This link should contain the solution.

Thanks for reaching out and providing the additional page. You have to set up your WordPress to work with JSON requests. It’s required in order to use CF7 form. If you could also provide the shortcode you are using for EBD, CF7, and the download monitor plugins that may be helpful.

Thanks for reaching out; after looking at the image it looks like the normal EBD settings dashboard. What part is looking different? If you look in the FAQ and images, there are screenshots on how to set up the plugins and shortcodes to use if you are confused about the initial configuration.

403 Error URL: https://digitalinnovationhubvicenza.it/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
The issue seems to be coming from an issue with the site/server setup. As we were able to download the file via inline link and email, but are no longer able to now. Now we are getting a 403 status code, which indicates that the server understood the request but refuses to authorize it.
