Yeah, I would trust your code and testing a lot more than I would mine. 🙂

Whether something has changed from the commit in summer ’15, or whether I have something else creating an issue here, I don’t know. I had just found a need to return to this issue, and had hoped stumbling across this commit might resolve the problem.

While I hope you all can get to 4.3 at some point, I understand the timeframes on these updates, and how other work takes precedent. I’ll continue to follow these threads and github and test more on my side.

Got it. Thanks for the explanation. I did have to globally reorder to resolve a specific plugin conflict issue. It was nice to have that ability. At one point, I was under the assumption that sort helped with site speed, but now understand it does not.

Regardless, thanks for one of the most important plugins I use.

I just wanted to circle back on this. I’ve continued to test this, and now with URE 4.20.1 in place, I no longer have this issue.

Again, I can’t say it was a URE issue, it could have been a conflict with another plugin that we have since updated too.

I finally found the Group Messages options. While expected in Profile or Mass Messages or Compose or someplace like that, it was in Groups, imagine that. 🙂 Something in docs about that would be helpful.

I also emailed you about another issue in the plugin settings that you should be aware of.

Oh, while a ‘vote’ is not necessary in an Activity, the ability to use the plugin for a straight up ‘Like’ of a BP activity (which then results in a clean well structured activity generation – example ‘Sue liked John’s update’) was a good thing (subject to the privacy rules, of course). It would be great if you could somehow fix or modify that, instead of removing it completely. Maybe keep it as an option on/off in plugin settings.

Otherwise, excellent to hear about the update. Do you have an expected release date?

I have tested a dozen other Like/Vote/Rate type plugins. Even as is, this is one of the best I’ve used. Hopefully with these fixes it will be one of the most popular on WP.

You know what, after I typed that comment on our setup, it made me think… your plugin is really important to what we do.

So I decided to make a donation on your plugin page. I do still ‘say’ thanks for your work, but I also wanted to express that in a better more ‘tangible’ way. 🙂
