In reply to: [WooCommerce] Issue with installation of woocommerce pluginHi @sgbhat,
I’d recommend trying to update the plugin via FTP as it seems like your initial install did not complete for some reason but the files are still there.
This tutorial covers how to update a plugin via FTP – https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-plugins-via-ftp/
If that doesn’t help, you’ll want to speak to your web host as you might have an issue on that end that needs to be resolved.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Issue with installation of woocommerce pluginThis is a duplicate of this thread – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/issue-with-installation-of-woocommerce-plugin/ so I’m marking it as solved.
Please only open a single thread for an issue.

In reply to: [NSFW] [WooCommerce] Cart page product title problemHi @airdute,
This is most likely an issue with your theme.
The correct variation shows up on the checkout page as you can see from this screenshot:
Full Size: https://d.pr/i/fi15hcSo, the template for the cart page must be at fault.
I’d recommend temporarily switching your theme to the Storefront theme as a way to test.
If the details are showing up in the Storefront theme, then you’ll know for sure that your theme is the issue and you can take that up with the theme’s developer.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to add google pay to my wordpress websiteHi @rajitham,
The Stripe plugin provides support for Google Pay.
Stripe is currently offering support for Indian merchants, so you’ll want to look at setting up an account with them. You can see all of their relevant pricing here – https://stripe.com/en-in/pricing
Hi @igorski,
Sorry about the typos. This link here – https://happypro.academy/events/the-power-of-it-sales requires me to log in or register before I can do anything.
Someone trying to help you with this will not be interested in registering on a site they have no intention of using.
You’ll want to remove that restriction if you want someone to be able to spend time looking at this for you.
I have to heavily use custom CSS to remove the radio button and “Purchase through Woocommerce” message AND the icon of Woo (holy molly, why would it be there at all? It doesn’t really do anything except disorient user and refocus their attention from buying the course). When I say all this – it is with a smile and a desire to help you guys become better:)
This sounds like something that is added by the plugin powering your courses as “Purchase through Woocommerce” isn’t something that you’ll find in the WooCommerce plugin itself.
You may want to reach out to them concerning that.
The one course I am referring to is an online event. And I have figured out how to translate the View Cart and the message after it finally. But… It would be great to be able to change the formatting of the View Cart as a button, not just a link, and to have it SEPARATE from the “Product has been added to your cart” message. I really don’t understand why they are connected – this is not the best UX idea, IMHO.
As you can see from the screenshots I shared of products that you created in WooCommerce, they are quite separate. This then means that some other plugin is responsible for the skewed view that you’re seeing on your course.
The course plugin would be the first thing I’d recommend looking into.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Physical inventory syncIt sounds like what you need here is to sit down with a developer and iron out your requirements so they can help you build something custom.
If you don’t have a go-to developer, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Minimum product inventory orderHi @invertedm,
This sounds pretty similar to the crowdfunding model and is a scenario where the WooCommerce Pre-Orders extension would shine.
It’ll allow you to set your shirt product as a pre-order item that is only charged upon release. In your case, you’ll want to set a release date that is far to the future and once you hit your minimum order requirement, you can release the product and cause all your customer’s cards to be charged.
It’s best to be upfront to your customers about this so that they know how long they need to wait to find out if this is successful or not.
You also want to make sure that you’re using one of the payment gateways listed here as they are the ones that support this type of operation – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/pre-orders/#section-20
Hi @vejapixel,
You’d use the backend for situations where you’re taking orders over the phone so that you have a record of the order and can make sure it is fulfilled.
If you, as the administrator, place the order from the front end of the site, the order will be tied to your account rather than the customer’s account, so your reporting will be off as you will be counted as the customer for that order.
Ideally, all of your orders should come from the frontend and be made directly by the customer. This way they can put in all of the relevant details and depending on the payment method you’re using, even store their credit card details to facilitate faster checkout next time.
The exception should be when you’re taking orders over the phone.
Unless for some reason best known to you, manually entering the orders is your preferred modus operandi. In my opinion, this defeats the purpose of having an online store but I’ll defer to the the business owner here.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] custom checkout field based on shipping addressHi @kristad,
While the Checkout Field Editor extension allows you to add custom fields to the checkout page, these fields are NOT conditional.
They show up on the checkout page 100% of the time.
If you’re looking to add conditional fields to the checkout page you’re most likely going to need to speak to a developer and have them build something for you. If you don’t have a go-to developer, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] upload productsHi @naveen73,
Your best bet here is to manually add one or more of your products to the store with all the data that is relevant to you.
Once that’s done, you can then export the products to a CSV document and use that as a template to enter the remainder of your products since only the relevant bits of information will be filled out in the CSV.
You can then reimport this to the site once you’re done.
Hi @igorski,
The course you’ve linked to here – https://happypro.academy/events/the-power-of-it-sales, requires one to of in first in order to be able to take any action, you can imagine that anyone looking to help with this would not be interested in signing up first.
I’ve taken a look at this product instead – https://happypro.academy/product/bracelet/ and I’m not able to reproduce the issue you speak of. Both items are displayed distinctly regardless of whether I’m in desktop or mobile view

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Physical inventory syncHi @nicomarins,
You have a number of options here.
- You can pivot all your sales to the online store by listing your physical inventory on the online store and using something like https://wcpos.com/ as your in-store POS system. This allows all orders whether in-store or online to be processed through the website without inconveniencing you or the customers.
- If you’re using Square to process your physical in-store transactions, you can use the Square for WooCommerce plugin to handle inventory synchronisation between WooCommerce & Square. Bear in mind that this will only synchronise inventory, it WILL NOT synchronise orders and order information
There are probably more alternatives that you can consider, but these would be the first suggestions.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Store Address APIHi @magesh6,
You can pull this information through the “Settings Options” – https://woocommerce.github.io/woocommerce-rest-api-docs/#list-all-setting-options
wp-json/wc/v3/settings/general/will list all the information available at WooCommerce → Settings → General and you can then extract the individual fields that make up the Store address.Store Address in WooCommerce Settings

In reply to: [WooCommerce] how can i use local and online payment at the same timeIf I understand correctly, you want customers to pay the cost of shipping online and pay for the actual cakes in-person at your business location.
That’s an unusual business model. Typically, you’d either collect the full payment online or do so in person.
There’s no clean way to do this. You could use the WooCommerce Deposits extension to collect a deposit for each product and then collect the remaining payment when they show up at your location.
However, this will not separate out the shipping cost and charge for only that.
If you absolutely must have things functioning in this way, you’re going to want to speak to a developer about building something for you.
If you don’t have a go-to developer, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.
