I have got exactly the same error – and cannot access admin screens to fix it!
Did you find a way round this?

Hi there
Thank you so much for taking the trouble to construct such a long and helpful reply.
I must admit, I feel like looking for “bad data” is a bit of a wild goose chase – I’m not sure I would recognise bad data if I fell over on the stairs – but I think your PHP version comment is very interesting. So I went to the PHP config option in CPanel on my old web host (where I haven’t deleted the previous instance of my blog) and notice it was user-selectable. I appear to have been running php 5.2 there; whereas on my new host I don’t appear be able to select a version at all – but am apparently running php 5.3.9.!
Does php 5.3.9 handle header information differently from 5.2 perhaps!?
thanks Lucy

In reply to: Jetpack WordPress Stats showing incorrect countYep Nbostic, the wordpress.com site showing in my top right hand corner is my original dormant one.

In reply to: Jetpack WordPress Stats showing incorrect countI did deactivate jetpack and disconnect from WordPress.com (probably a bit rash there) but reconnected and my histogram data is still there. So hopefully that means you can do it too – but it doesn’t fix anything!

In reply to: Jetpack WordPress Stats showing incorrect countReelbits,
I don’t entirely follow… I suspect I’m not as technical as you!
Are you saying that you changed hosting server, and that you used to use wordpress’s own server before Oct 2010? (I didn’t even know wordpress had a server of their own that users could use but anyway). Thing is, I haven’t swapped server: I’ve used bluehost throughout. But what I have noticed is that the data being pulled through seems to come from a different site I have at bluehost, which presumably is some old jetpack file, rather than my new/active site.
Why the swap from one to the other should suddenly make a difference now though makes no sense at all to me though. 🙁

In reply to: Jetpack WordPress Stats showing incorrect countWell you gents have certainly reassured me…
My at-a-glance graph is still populated (though today’s number seems to be stuck at 153… coincidence?). But the numbers below for all-time views, views today, and views on my busiest day are 0, 1 and 1 respectively. Which is rubbish as I get around 150 hits a day.
Referrers, top posts etc. have also gone blank.
I have a dormant site too and was wondering if these new numbers refer to that.. coincidence?
also on bluehost but am guessing this is a jetpack thing.?
