I cannot get the phpAdmin program to work.

I cannot get WP to save any changes. It wont let me fix where the UTF-7 is.

It will not let me make any other changes either.

As you can see by my blog, its screwed up. Not hugely.

If I try to edit one of the entries (in an attempt to ignore the other WP issues), it opens up the edit screen, but there is NO text present.

I am now considering whacking it altogether and completely redoing the install of WP, but I dont want to lose my posts.

I’ve been sitting here for 6 hours…I am green…I dont know what i am doing, I dont know what PHP does, or how it works. I am lucky I can hand code a bit of HTML.

I really just want to start all over…but I don’t know how to save the last year of posts…

    Thanks Cypher.

I’ve got the file open in Notepad (didnt know what other program to edit it with).

Its a huge long mess of coding that is greek to me. I am trying to find all of the places to change my password.

I know the database name, username, password and host (same info that is in the WP config file). So I am not sure what the deal is.

    *wails*

Not only can I not make any changes, add/activate/deactivate plug-ins…

I cannot seem to get the dumb thing to even LOAD… *points*

Ok, after some tinkering, I was able to get LJ to recognize the feed. Hopefully it will stay that way, as it just spammed the crap out of my friends -friends list with nearly 3 months of entries all at one time!

I am still not certain why the load times on my blog are so piss-poor. I’m not well skilled in CSS…I am fearful that this is the problem..a broken code I am not seeing?

This has happened to myself *just moments ago* as well as my friend tuckle.net *I am luckylibra.com/bloggy I wonder…we are both hosting through Dreamhost…are you too John?
