I tried that and it did not work, do you have any other suggestions as I have over 1,400 articles to import! lolAwesome plugin if I can get this to work, love how it strips out extra things in each title that I did not want, if I can just get it to import my tags I would be over the moon!
Is there any other info I can provide that would help?

In reply to: wordpress 3.8 new optimize image problemI am going to close this thread, as I activated only one plugin EWWW Image optimiser and on one site it optimized the four images I had problems with and on the other site it did 3 and could not do one as it was already optimized I am happy with that for now.
Moving on to fine tune my other problems now.

In reply to: wordpress 3.8 new optimize image problemIn case it helps I am using one free theme called NewsFrame and one premium from themeforest called Bangkok both sites are 3.8 wordpress.
I did have EWWW Image Optimizer installed but it keeps saying now that it cant make any savings, so its deactivated now like all my other plugins.

The images are jpg, I upload to media library and then add to the front page (happens on all pages though).
How can I tell what version of .php? I am with hostgator.
I would like to install wordpress 3.7 to see if it changes things but dont know how to do that.
I am using this theme, and I have a similar questions, hope its ok to post here.
I am creating a silo website using this theme, and I need for the blog page to be like the home page, and I know to select it using the static page and select blog for latests posts, or the way I did it was to call a page blog and choose the template of blog (which is great and works), but I want my front page to be static but have the same look as the blog now does.
I cant have my front page as posts though it has to be a static page.
My thoughts are that it might need to be a html page or I might have to use some sort of page builder so it looks the same.

In reply to: Newspaper theme images croppedThanks trying one of them, not great, but now I understand that it can be done I will try a few different ones until I work out which one will be fastest.
I guess it would have been easier if I could do all this inside Photoshop then upload them, or if the theme used images that were all the same ration.

If so I am happy to do that, it might be a bit slow with over 300 posts all with images! lol But doable.

How would it be set up if I used a newspaper style theme from wordpress, I am willing to use a theme from here if it will do what I need with images.

Thank you for that, I did see something similar the first time I checked and I sadly went and changed it to the www one as I thought it was the right one, then for some reason it showed as being fine, and then today when I checked it showed up again as one of them needing to change! lol
Any idea now how long before my image shows now in search results, its it a big wait time again becasue I had it wrong for so long?

I have had your plugin for a few months, today is the first day that I checked to see if my picture comes up when I do a search for my articles and it does not, but the I use the Structured Data Testing Tool my picture shows and everything looks good to me.

Found the canonical tab that was causing the problem in the header.php and removed it, it was in a different place and was a much shorter code, but it all works now, thank you so much for all your help.
SEO Doctor I am still happy with as I would not have known the page was a ‘dont index’ without it.
