In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Receive 404 when try save settingsHi @borisov87
We’d like you to check something. In your browser, open the inspector (ctrl+shift+i), then go to our settings page. Do any javascript errors pop up?
Thanks,

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Admin – HTTP 500Thanks for that!
That explains everything actually. We specifically add it before $table_prefix, and did not search for the beginning of the line. We’ll work on a fix for this situation, so it doesn’t happen again.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Admin – HTTP 500Glad to hear that you were able to resolve it. It’s possible that there were some writes to the file that may have re-ordered it?
What did you see that was changed?
Our plugin does the following:
1. If the WP_CACHE define is already set, do not change anything.
2. If the wp-config file is not writable, return an error.
3. If there is a define WP_CACHE false, set it to true.
4. If (3) does not exist, Look for table_prefix and add a define before that.
5. If (4) does not exist, try to add to the start of the file after <?php
6. if (5) fails, return errorDo you know what case you had? So we could see if something happened because of the cache plugin.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Admin – HTTP 500Hi @laurin1
If you are able to access the file system, are there any error_log files in the admin directory?
Thanks,

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Is it compatible with Adsense?I think it should be fine. That plugin uses shortcodes, and I think Adsense needs to pull the ad itself from a link, if I’m not mistaken. As long as the banners are using the same link, it should be fine.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Is it compatible with Adsense?Hi @cosmico
The cache should not impact anything related to Adsense. Do you mean compatibility with a specific plugin?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Automatic cache primingNo public map. The anticipated big feature for 1.0.15 is this automatic cache priming. After that, we anticipate releasing 1.1, maybe at the same time (as a non-stable availability). 1.1 will feature ESI, which can greatly increase the number of pages that we can cache.
After that, it’ll primarily be bug fixes and user requests for features.
Cheers,

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Automatic cache primingHi @hlsg
1. No ETA. It is the feature that we are currently working on, however, so it shouldn’t be too long.
2. We will be using our own form of sitemap. I’ll get back to you later on the second question regarding parsing.
3. We plan on having multiple ways to initialize priming. Since the plugin was tailor made to work with LiteSpeed servers, we have the advantage of telling the server when we’re trying to prime the cache. One advantage is that normal users can still be served from cache while we’re priming it in the background. We will probably also have ways to initiate a priming immediately, if desired.Cheers,

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] LS Cache – βadvanced cache” errorIt looks like for some reason, the redirect lost the actual page itself and only kept the tab.
Do you have any plugins that alter how the admin page works?
Another option is to try going to WP-Admin->Settings->LiteSpeed Cache. This will utilize a different URL. Does it work here?
Cheers,
KevinHi @merkucio
I”m not sure what Wordfence is testing, but last week, we did a silent update to the version on SVN. It’s still 1.0.14.1, but we just added new stuff to the readme as well as the FAQ within the wp-admin, which are the differences you are seeing.
I believe what Wordfence is doing is comparing your version to the version on WordPress/SVN (the ‘original’ which contains the extra questions).
You have nothing to worry about. You do not need to re-install the plugin unless you want to see the extra question in the FAQ π
