    Hi Mahdi,

Thank you for your prompt and thoughtful reply. I really appreciate the fact that you’re taking our feedback into account and investigating both the performance issue and the PHP error reported in version 1.0.5.

PatternsWP remains a promising and valuable plugin in our view, and we’ve decided to keep it in our WPDistrib setup for now, despite the issues. We’re happy to help improve it further and will gladly test the next version once fixes are implemented.

Please find below the technical details you requested regarding our WordPress and PHP versions, as well as active plugins.

Thanks again for your responsiveness — looking forward to the next update!

    Best regards

First of all, great work on this plugin! It fills an important gap in the WordPress ecosystem.

However, I’ve noticed that when importing content from Notion, longer texts seem to get cut off automatically. After checking, it appears that Notion’s API has some limitations:

    • A 100-block limit per request when retrieving content.
    • A 2,000-character limit per text property in databases.

I’d like to know if there’s a way to bypass or work around these limitations within the plugin. Could pagination or another method be implemented to ensure full content retrieval?

Looking forward to your thoughts on this. Thanks again for the great tool!

Unfortunately, our company doesn’t generate any revenue; we’re just passionate individuals investing our energy into a project around WordPress. That said, the best sponsorship I could offer is to include this extension in my upcoming release of wpdistrib. All the best!

I’ve added the test of your All in One WP Content Protector extension to my to-do list. Wishing you continued success!

After discussing with LocalWP, here’s the solution to avoid this bug, and it’s all on the LocalWP side. I enabled Trust to set up a local SSL certificate. Then, I forced it under my browser with https:// before the local server address ‘test.local’. And indeed, no more plugin issues. Keep up the great work, and congratulations on this plugin.

    Hi Jose,

Firstly, thank you for your prompt and thorough response. I appreciate the advice and the steps you’ve suggested for future troubleshooting.

Regarding the debug log, I regret to inform you that I did not have the debug mode activated at the time of the incident. This oversight on my part means I unfortunately don’t have any error logs to share. I realize now how crucial that information can be for diagnosing issues accurately.

I’m grateful for the instructions on how to handle similar situations in the future, particularly the tip about deactivating and reactivating the plugin before considering deletion. I’ll also keep in mind the option to revert to a previous version if necessary.

The information about the PRO version’s import/export feature is very helpful. It’s something I will consider for added convenience and to ensure settings are preserved.

Moving forward, I will ensure that debug mode is enabled to capture any potential issues. Should any problems arise, I’ll be better prepared to share detailed information to assist with troubleshooting.

Thank you again for your support and for the valuable resources you’ve provided. I look forward to a continued positive experience with your plugin.

Have a wonderful day as well!

    Best regards, Lilly

I would like to share another issue we are facing on our website, this time related to the Gutenberg page editor in distraction-free mode. Unfortunately, it is currently impossible to exit this mode due to an offset that occurs outside the field of view, unless the Wider Admin Menu extension is disabled.

    Best regards

To confirm my suspicions, I conducted an additional test on a fresh WordPress installation with only the mentioned plugin activated. Unfortunately, the issue persists, indicating a clear incompatibility between the “Wider Admin Menu” extension and the widgets administration page ( current theme, Astra Free version, on WordPress 6.2.2 FR).
