I just deactivated and deleted the plugin. Then I logged into my WordPress dashboard for Headspace.media in a chrome incognito window. There I installed the plugin and started the setup process.
The setup process worked properly. I was not redirected to the old site. Thank you for you help resolving this issue.
Matt
I changed the site address then changed it back and there was no change.
The previous URL was http://matthewf29.sg-host.com
I did not use a staging mechanism. I cloned a live site to another live site using ManageWP.com
Ok. Yes, the dashboard is located there.
1. Yes, the staging site was connected to Site Kit before migrating.
2. Site Health Information has been submitted.
When I go to the Site Kit Dashboard on the live site, I see the option to sign in and this text above the sign-in button:
“Site Kit has already been configured by another admin of this site. To use Site Kit as well, sign in with your Google account which has access to Google services for this site (e.g. Google Analytics). Once you complete the 3 setup steps, you’ll see stats from all activated Google products.”
However, there are no other admins on the live site. When I click the sign in button, I can connect with my google account but at the last screen it redirects me to the staging site (which no longer exists), not the live site.
I am having this problem as well. I migrated a site from a staging site to live site and the Site Kit plugin redirects me to the old site after I go through the verification process during setup. Is there any way to reset my site on the Site Kit authentication service?
