In reply to: [WP Dashboard Notes] Private note@sormano Hi, I’m having a similar issue – users at subscriber level can see notes that are only meant for me/admin.
– Happens in different browsers
– Turning on script debugging did not solve the issueThanks in advance
Update 2:
A setting under WordPress > LearnPress > Settings > Profile also needed to be ticked (‘Enable register from profile if the user is not logged in.’)
However, there is a couple more problems, but they’re not to do with registering so I’ll start a new thread.
Update:
A setting in WordPress > Settings > General has fixed part of the problem (‘Anyone can register’ needs to be ticked).
Registration for the paid course now appears to work:

Also, this is a screen shot of what you get when you can enrol for a free course as a guest (as I was able to do a couple of days ago).
As you can see, it shows there are no courses, even though the user has been enrolled in one. Visually, the avatar is too large, the user name is not aligned, and Password isn’t aligned within the child menu of the settings.
Thank you, but yes, that’s already selected!
***I’ve tried deactivating all plugins except LearnPress and it doesn’t make any difference.***
Screen shots for free course:

2. Course archive – https://www.dropbox.com/s/zld6do65pt6lh85/2.PNG?dl=0
3. Course checkout – https://www.dropbox.com/s/3xp37xwcpwvvdca/3.PNG?dl=0As you see in image 3.png, there is nowhere to register/create a username and password.
Screen shots for paid course:
1. Settings – https://www.dropbox.com/s/zufoviuijut3xdm/1.PNG?dl=0
2. Course archive – https://www.dropbox.com/s/3uzoltuijeipoj0/4.PNG?dl=0
3. Course checkout – https://www.dropbox.com/s/3z32oxmmwt291k5/5.PNG?dl=0As you see in image 4.png, there is a “continue checkout as guest”, however in 5.png it says there is no payment method, even though PayPal is selected, and also, there is no where to create a username or password.
Public course appears to work fine.
Are there any other settings I should be checking?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated – I really don’t want to switch plugins! Thank you in advance for your support!!!

Well… I thought I had this resolved, but it appears not…? No matter which settings I use, I can no longer get the “register as guest” to appear on a free or paid course.
This is such a shame – the core of this plugin appears to have everything I need and I love how straightforward it is, but it’s hard to get working 🙁 I really hope that things are resolved soon – there is so much potential here!

@mtmc I just added the last line to the above message.
You actually need a little more than what the support above offered – it takes away the header from the whole site, so you need to target just the course lesson pages. Try this:
.single-lp_course .header-inner { display:none; }(.header-inner may be different on your site)
Put this in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

I’ve been able to resolve this issue (it was a settings issue) – people can now register/login as a guest initially, however, once a new user has logged in and automatically taken to their dashboard, they’re still not actually enrolled in the course. When clicking on the “Courses” option within the course profile, and then going to “All courses” as well as “Not enrolled” it says “No courses!”
Instead, it appears they then have to go back (that is, find their way back) to the course archive page and click enroll/buy now again (depending on whether there is a cost associated or not).
Looking forward to your response on how best to fix this! Thank you!
And another suggestion:
6/ On the courses archive page, the free courses have an “Enroll” button and the paid courses have a “Buy this course” button. Purely for aesthetic reasons, could the free, public courses have a button too? (Eg: Start, Begin or View)

Thanks! That should fix it.
Is it a theme compatibility issue, however? ie, should I be alerting the theme developer?
Hi! Thanks for your reply. I tried that, but when a user now clicks “enrol” (here) they’re taken to the WordPress login page (site.com/wp-login)…
How do they enrol in the course by creating a username and password?
