When I look at your demo at mpttdemo.getmotopress.com on my iPad, it doesn’t have a hover – and you can’t always see the full description either – you just click straight through to the event.

I’ve also tried:

I read that adding onclick=”” to anything you wish iOS to recognise as an element with a hover. Will work. Eg: <div onclick=””>Click Me!</div>
I’m just not sure where to edit this though?
I only noticed this after I deleted most of my plugins, including LifterLMS (this is a test site, so I didn’t need LifterLMS installed on it any more)
