In reply to: Twenty Twelve full width headerActually, no. The header displays correctly. In the Dashboard, Apperance>Header (“select image” location) the default verbiage there says: “You can select an image to be shown at the top of your site by uploading from your computer or choosing from your media library. After selecting an image you will be able to crop it.
Suggested width is 960 pixels. Suggested height is 250 pixels.”Since my header is now 640×146, and is correctly displaying it, how do I get rid of that misleading verbiage?
Thanks again,

In reply to: Twenty Twelve full width headerThe image does fit fine, but it’s just the default verbiage (above the upload window) about sizing that I’d like to change. I imagine it’s in one of the template files, but I can’t locate it.

In reply to: Page won't update – page not found after clicking updateAfter some extensive research, I found that the problem was due to my web hosting server’s ModSecurity firewall in Apache module. It appears that WP 3.5 is a bit too sensitive with security. Anyway, all I had to do was to contact my hosting service and they went into the account and made the adjustment.
Hope this helps others that are experiencing this problem. (BTW, if you’re having problems with your hosting service, I recommend Westhost.com.)

In reply to: Twenty Twelve full width headeralchymyth,
Thanks for that easy-to-follow instruction for adjusting the twenty-twelve header. Now that I’ve changed my header (to 640×146), do you know how to change the verbiage within the Appearance/Header that says: “Suggested width is 960 pixels. Suggested height is 250 pixels.”Forum: Fixing WordPress

Thanks!

In reply to: I can't switch over to visualI’m getting a similar problem as hoodleehoo. However, I have the tool bars, but when I click the “Update” button I’m taken to Page Not Found. But this is only on existing pages and posts. New ones are fine. I’m not sure if this is related; if I don’t locate a similar forum thread I’ll begin a new one.

After going through your troubleshooting document, I didn’t see my issue being addressed. (I did, however, visit the known pages of this issue in the Forum without locating a solution.)
Maybe there’s other experiencing this problem?Help still needed. Thanks in advance…

In reply to: [Special Recent Posts] Text Excerpt using short code no longer viewsI found my error. I had been using short codes (above) that I found in another forum. It worked okay for the old version of the plugin, but then I edited the short codes per the example on the Installation page and all is well now. Here’s my modified, working, version:

Then the Title and Meta options appear.
