My webhost has suggested something like this instead.
noabort poses a resource risk to the entire website
Instead
maybe a condition so that it applies only to the specific Wordfence URLs
As followsRewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_COOKIE} wordpress_logged_in_ [NC] RewriteRule .* - [E=noconntimeout:1] RewriteCond %{HTTP_COOKIE} wordpress_logged_in_ [NC] RewriteRule ^wp-admin/admin-ajax.php$ - [E=noabort:1]I haven’t tested yet but would be interested in knowing the recommended way forward.
Should I add something like this manually or would word fence or litespeed be updated?many thanks
Hi I am following up on this as I am dealing with the same issue and this has not been resolved for me. I am also on a litespeed server and every single one of my wordpress sites seems to be failing the scan process.
The webhost has advised<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^wp-cron.php$ - [E=noabort:1]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_COOKIE} ^.wordpress_loggedin.$
RewriteRule .* - [E=noconntimeout:1]
</IfModule>My sites still seem to fall over on ‘server state’ stage,
Also they have said ‘there must be recent changes to the Wordfence plugin works which means this is now an issue which didn’t previously exist.
It should be quite possible to resolve, it just needs a
noabortconfig targetted at the Wordfence requests which require this to be set. ‘Any guidance much appreciated.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] plugin compatibilityHI Adrian Thank you for getting back to me.
That is good to know.
thanks again lr
Hi Marcus,
I’m sorry I’ve only just seen your last message.
I’ve now tried upgrading the plugin from scratch again. So from version 6.6.5 to 7.2.3.1
I’m still having a problem with the front end Event submission form, but I think most of this is to do with there being so many available options that it’s confusing, and some of the functionality is flakey.I now have some time to work on the theme files, so I’m hoping to be able to remove some of the options that we don’t need.
thanks for your help!
Hi Marcus,
Thanks for your ongoing support with this!
I’ve tried that solution, and I’ve tried lots of cache clearing, safe mode and changing the theme. But I am seeing all options for everything on the front end submission form.
I know I could make some of the changes I need with child theme templates, but there just seems to be too many issues.
I only want single and repeating events, but it’s showing me recurring and time slots no matter which options are selected. The field ‘This is a recurring event’ doesn’t make any difference.
On the plus side, I can add repeating events in admin fine now!
thanksThanks for all your help with this.
I used WP Safe Mode, and changed themes etc and eventually narrowed it down to an old file in my child theme. (I had tried testing themes earlier but possibly due to caching it hadn’t made any difference).
The problem file was:
‘my theme/plugins/events-manager/forms/event/when.php’
which makes sense, I should have realised this sooner.I notice on the new form submission template, there is still an option to add time slots, even though I’ve disabled them in admin. Is the only way to remove this to edit the template and add it to my child theme?
thanksHi, thanks for your reply.
I have just upgraded to the dev version. The recurrences option is now checked but greyed out and unclickable in Screen Options. And unfortunately, I still can’t see the Recurrences panel.Do you have any other advice?
Thanks! To troubleshoot, I have disabled all other plugins and tried another theme, but I still have an issue where the Recurrences panel does not show.
If I turn off Recurrences (in screen options) and then turn on again – I get the following text ‘This is your primary recurrence, other recurring events will use these advanced settings as their default settings if left blank.’If I try and save the event I get the following error:
Your event details are incorrect and recurrences cannot be created, please correct these errors first:
Dates must have correct formatting. Please use the date picker provided.
Since the event is recurring, you must specify an event end date greater than the start date.
Main recurrence set dates are required.
Main recurrence set times are required.
And can’t save the event. I noticed someone else had this error, but it doesn’t look like there’s been a solution.

This is still not working, can anyone please help with this?
No unfortunately it doesn’t… thanks for trying to help!
Thanks for your reply.
Sadly this doesn’t work for me!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] GDPR marketing group fieldsHi
Thank you for responding so quickly. That makes sense to me ( and I would like to continue to use the plugin for all it’s current advantages) but the administrators of the mailchimp account want to use the fields as attached. Can you point me to guidance on how I might be able to apply that or do I need a developer?
many thanks for your help

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] International ShippingHi The way tax works is not quite right for basic shipping needs. The plugin is really, really great, just perfect for those that don’t need huge ecommerce but the absence of shipping means I may not use it. If you can add very basic international shopping soon then that would be wonderful!

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] International ShippingHi Thank you for the response.
Tax works detecting location which is what I need for shipping. I can only see one price option for the shipping field? Have I missed something ?
For example
UK 5.00 + regional tax
US 7.00 + regional tax
Rest of world 10.00 + regional tax
Can this be done?
thanks!
