2) I use a few custom roles with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/, to create some roles.
3) If you create a few custom roles, and then ask it to hide menu items it’s not doing it properly. For many of them!
E.g. install https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-optimize/ and then try and hide this from a user with certain role.There are about 6 menu items that it won’t hide for custom roles.
4) https://wordpress.org/support/topic/2-quick-questions-4?replies=10#post-6711395, I still can’t use the dashboard redirect. Not sure why I can’t access it. Any ideas?Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Adminimize] No update since longtime. Is there any other alternative?The issue with Free plugins is that they sometimes don’t get developed further. Much better to have a pro version. Look at the Yoast SEO plugin. It was free and now they have a premium version. It needs to be worth your while to maintain. I’m no coder, so can’t really add to the code. I do think it’s a great plugin though and you should earn money from this.
Anyways, I understand your position.

Would be neat if you had a few settings:
1) Set box width.
2) Set box height.
3) Set box border width.
4) Change tweet text.
5) Change tweet icon.Would make it awesome. (and if you had a little stats dashboard.) I know you can use Bit.ly, but it would be nice if it was embedded. 🙂

Remove All WPMU plugins. I use a much better plugin without the nag and with updates.
This no nag was such a frustration for me! You should charge $5 for this plugin and you’d get many sales… 🙂

The backend is so slow now!!! When I disable W3TC it’s back to normal!
