if i deactivate the APC-Object cache, the wp-admin backend works fine..
But how can i use also the APC Object cache, without slowing down my backend ??
Thanks
Sally
Sounds like this is a server configuration issue, not a W3 Total Cache issue. APC is not the best fit for all situations.
If you’re still experiencing issues and you’d like help, please submit a bug report through the Support tab of the plugin.

i don’t use APC to fit all situations..
Page Cache – Disk Enhanced
Minify – Disabled
Database Cache – Opcode APC enabled
Problem just exist when i enable Object Cache enabled with APC Opcode …

I saw, that I’m not the only one with the slow Admin Backend when using W§TC, is there some documentation available, how to configure the server????
Thx

Hi guys,
I have the same issue with my Dashboard. Since I installed W3 total cache my Dashboard is very very slow. At times is impossible to work with WP.
I would like to know if there is any quick fix for this.
Thanks,
Manu
I would just like to say I am having the same exact issue. I am testing cache plugins. W3 Total Cache is really awesome, but my WordPress admin Dashboard is very slow with W3 Total Cache.
I may remove it because I use woocommerce, and my employees are constantly in the dashboard changing products and viewing orders. I hope this gets fixed the front end of the website is very fast!
I am using rackspace with Ubuntu 14 and a 8gb ram server that connects through the network to a 4gb MySql server that utilizes a 2gb buffer pool. Even without any caching plugins its very fast, but trying to enhance the user experience a bit further.
IS there any solution to this? I have the same issue.
The backend is so slow now!!! When I disable W3TC it’s back to normal!
I believe that W3TC support is not monitoring this threads
I found the solution. If you disable object and disk cache it solves it.
@lab41, I was having this problem and took your advice – I unchecked Object Cache (it was set to disk) and now I’m flying again. Thanks!
