In reply to: [Yeloni Exit Popup | (Free) GDPR Compliance] Poor usability & hidden paywallsHi Bothera,
Only the Custom HTML popup is paid, and all the other designs are free.
Thanks for the suggestion. We will update this in the upcoming versions.

Hi there,
Thanks for sharing your views. I now see that we should have mentioned this clearly on the dashboard. Will do it in the next version.
To clarify your concerns-
1. The link is added using javascript and is not crawled by google and hence does not have an effect on SEO. If you see the page source (which is what google sees), you will not find the link.2. The link is shown on the free version of the plugin and not once you upgrade to the business version
3. Showing a “Powered By” link a common practice among a lot of SaaS providers including OptinMonster and Privy.
4. Yeloni is a Serviceware. We provide contact storage on our servers (so that you can retrieve them even if your website crashes). We follow the guidelines listed here – https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-org/detailed-plugin-guidelines/
I hope that addresses your concerns. In the next version, we will highlight this in the plugin dashboard.
Regards,
KranthiAwesome. Thanks for sharing these links. They are very useful.
Hi there,
Thanks for bringing this to our notice.
The file is concatenated but not minified as we were finding it difficult to debug on our client websites when they reported any issues with some themes. If you are aware of any techniques to debug (with breakpoints) minified scripts, I would be happy to learn.
In future versions, we plan to put this script on a CDN for faster loading.
We just released 9.0.3 excluding the noisy console logs as per your suggestion.
I hope that addresses your concerns. Request you to mark this thread as resolved if it does.
Cheers
Ok. I think I misunderstood groups for lists.
Its not possible to add user to a particular group or segment.
As groups and segments is a feature specific to Mailchimp and not a generic feature in other Email Marketing services, we may not be able to prioritize this feature.
As an alternative, you could create multiple lists and use them for a similar outcome.
Hope that helps.
Hi there,
Once you connect your Mailchimp account to Yeloni, you should be able to see an option of “Select an Email List”. This dropdown will populate all the lists that you have added in your Mailchimp account.
Once you select a list, all emails collected in this widget will be stored on that list in Mailchimp. You can also create multiple widgets and route those emails to different lists.
Here’s a screenshot for your reference – https://yeloni.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/yeloni_mailchimp_list.png
Hope that helps.
Cheers 🙂Hi Seymoure,
This issue has been fixed in version 8.1.9. The name field will now accept special characters as well.
Have tested it with a name like Garðarshólmi
Please update your plugin to the latest version.
Thanks
Thats a great point Seymoure. We hadn’t thought of it.
Will update you once it is fixed.

In reply to: [Yeloni Exit Popup | (Free) GDPR Compliance] Automated email senderHi there,
We currently use AWS to send confirmation emails.
In the next version, we will provide the option to update the sender’s name and email in.A lot of our users are not technically proficient and they do not have the local phpmail setup. Thats why, we send the email using other services.
