In reply to: [Redux Framework] Recent Update – Regex Warning ErrorHi,
Since I am not able to reproduce this error, and you’ve included no information on what you were doing to get this error, and since I do not have a copy of the theme you are using, I am requesting you report this to the theme author so they can reproduce it and file a support request with us with the requisite data and a copy of their theme, neither of which you can provide for us. Something like this can happen when a permalink the theme uses is malformed.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] Critical error when activatingHI,
“Critical error” doesn’t tell me anything. It’s similar to telling a telling a mechanic you got a check engine light and wanted to know the reasons with no other information. It can’t be done.
The admin of the sight should receive an email after a critical error. In that email is the specific error message. That’s what I need to know. From there we can determine if the issue is with Redux or the theme.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] CSS performance improvementI would think so. The guy who write this close to a decade ago had some reason for this design and for the life of me, I cannot remember what it was. I’ll do some testing with it.
I moved this to our issue tracker: https://github.com/reduxframework/redux-framework/issues/4052
Oh, I read you correctly. I get this all the time. It’s always Redux’s fault when it’s typically the theme and I spend more time defending Redux than not.
503 is still a server issue, and I have no idea why Redux would do something like that. I have never seen anything like that with Redux (but constantly with themes), which is why if you insist it’s Redux, I need to see evidence. Some error message or log entry that specifically states Redux threw a fatal error related to a 503. As with 99% of the other issues on this board, it’s typically because once Redux is activated and all the options in the theme are enabled, bad theme code is activated..and because it only happens when Redux is activated, it’s automatically assumed it’s Redux’s fault. I have zero control over that. We do not support themes. We do not have access to themes that use Redux. I’m sorry the theme developer is not replying. It happens a lot, but I/we cannot help with theme issues. If you purchased the theme from ThemeForest, you have recourse through them.
The comment page for your theme is here: https://themeforest.net/item/giftxtore-jewelry-elementor-woocommerce-wordpress-theme/47642602/comments. I could post there with a link to this page and politely tell them they are not responding to your request for help. That usually ends with them replying that your support term expired or they can’t find your registration. It’s what usually happens when I intervene. I have no control over either of those things. It doesn’t change the fact that I am able to support someone else’s theme. I’m sorry.
I’m sorry, but you have been misled. No evidence has been provided or error data that supports this supposition. Do you have any to provide that includes references to Redux? If not, you’ll need to contact the theme author for theme support. We do not support themes that use Redux.
A 503 error is a server-side problem, so it requires intervention from the website administrator or hosting provider. Them blaming it on Redux with no evidence or data simply means they don’t know what they are doing. Either way, I can’t help. I do not have access to your theme and I do not have access to your server.
Last, here’s an automated report from plugintests.com, which independent and automatically tests WordPress plugins – https://plugintests.com/plugins/wporg/redux-framework/latest – “Page speed impact: insignificant. The plugin didn’t make the site noticeably slower.” Page speed issues are typically the theme and plugins like the one you mentioned.
Good luck.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] technical error/homepages/12/d940031549/htdocs/clickandbuilds/lab66-torbole.it/wp-content/plugins/redux-framework/redux-core/inc/classes/class-redux-validation.php(58): ReduxFramework->_validate_values()This is likely a big part of the problem. This is a deprecated API that is being called from an extension the theme author is using. Either one they wrote or an old version of Metaboxes (which is now included in Redux and they can discontinue using). Again, only the theme author can answer these questions. I apologize that you are stuck in the middle, but it’s those people who need to contact us to resolve this, or to discontinue using the old Metabox extension, or if it’s one they wrote, to update their code.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] technical errorI am unable to recreate this. Have you notified the theme author? Since Redux is a developers tool and not a consumer one, we do not support themes or themes users directly as we do not have access to the theme you are using, which will be necessary here. Please contact the theme author, ask them if they are able to recreate the issue, then have them contact us so we can work with them as only they can provide a copy of their theme.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] Redux_Extension_Tabbed::$version must be strings@spoonthemes, @rajabjutt –
NO! Do NOT do that. I really wish developers would stop embedded. It leads to stuff like this.ALL refences to typesafe declarations in the Extension Abstract and ALL extension in Redux have been removed in the beta and why I keep suggesting to use it (even though it seems I’m being disregarded). So, if you add this code to the embedded version in the theme core, your issues will NOT stop. You’ll create new ones once Redux is updated on wp.org. If you do this, any issue related to Redux extensions in the core are yours or the theme authors. If you make those changes and crash the site, please do not report it to me here. I won’t be able to help or offer advice past undoing whatever you did. Once people start messing with the code, we no longer support any of it. So, proceed cautiously.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] Redux_Extension_Tabbed::$version must be stringsAs I said in another post, try to beta. I’m not sure what Redux and a tab widget have in common that would cause an error.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] Redux framework Plugin Created an issue on the website@rajabjutt – “Crashing again,” that tells me nothing. It’s like the car’s check engine light coming on, you calling the mechanic to tell them so and then asking for a solution. It can’t be done. No relevant information. I need the exact error message.
As for those four listed in your last post, those theme issues. They have nothing to do with Redux. We do not support themes that use Redux. You’ll have to report those to the theme author.

Undid all the crap that was messing everything up. Please let me know if it runs smoothly. If so, I’ll push this out here tonight.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] Redux framework Plugin Created an issue on the websiteHonestly, I have no idea and I can’t waste anymore time chasing all this issues I cannot recreate. I’ll undo everything I did over the last month and go back to the previous way. Problem solved. Expect an update later tonight.

In reply to: [Redux Framework] Tips for Getting HelpThanks for the post. Ultimately, no one will read it. The never, ever do. I’m attempting to get approval for a more detailed version of a post similar to this and make it sticky. Then I can just refer people who don’t read to that post and not waste time typing the same thing over and over.
