In reply to: [Contact Form 7] 502 (Bad Gateway) when attached a doc fileHey @dtonline – Sorry I don’t have better news, but we didn’t get it resolved. We just added a note to our users encouraging them to use the file-type that doesn’t cause issues (.doc and .pdf files work, but .docx crash it) and providing an alternative PDF form to email should they run into issues. Not ideal and we’ll likely switch our form tool in the next couple of months because of it.
Hello! Not sure I’m understanding your problem correctly, but from what I I think you’re saying that you would like files uploaded to your forms to be stored somewhere within the WordPress site so that you can access them at any time? I’ve found Contact Form DB to be a very straightforward tool for these purposes: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7-to-database-extension/
I hope that’s helpful and apologies if I’m misreading the issue you’re encountering.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] 502 (Bad Gateway) when attached a doc fileWe are also encountering this error. Uploads with the .doc or .pdf extension come through fine but the .docx upload will not successfully submit and when the page is refreshed, crease the 502 (Bad Gateway) message.
