/html/Our website is now running A LOT slower after moving our WordPress files from a dedicated
/bli/folder directly into the root directory.
Is the site loading slower because WordPress is checking ALL files & folders in the root directory BEFORE displaying the website?Let me know if you need me to give more info before you can answer.
ANSWER – YES! According to the faq section of the plugin site documentation, I had to “uncomment” the call to the footer in the footer.php file.
I changed
<!--?php wp_footer(); ?-->to
<!?php wp_footer(); ?>and the stats started coming in.

In reply to: [WordPress.com Stats] [Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] Stats? Where?And yes…i have the necessary code in the footer
Because of this quote and faq questions from the WordPress.com Stats plugin site, I was able to, finally, begin to see the stats roll in.
For your situation, I recommend reading that same documentation and posting more questions.

In reply to: WordPress.com Stats: How to delete completely and start over?Alexzandra – did you get your problem fixed?
Were you having any problems with functionality?
Next, I noticed that on all of the computers where there were no problem, they all had WinXP Service Pack 3(SP3) and I didn’t. So, I upgraded my desktop to SP3 and still there was no fix.
Ideas?
UPDATE:
I tried different monitors and got the same ALL WHITE screen result.
So, if the problem is with my desktop computer, how do I troubleshoot so I can find the root of the problem?
Ok, so far, I have learned that the transparency in the upper-left hand corner is just an issue with my monitor.
As far as the all WHITE FULL SCREEN, how can I troubleshoot my set up to discover whether it is the monitor, the computer, or both?
