It’s usually done, if you go to Admin page < Pages. Click “quick edit” and play with the number of “order” here is the screenshot. The first in the list should be 0,1,2 etc, but i always do, 0, 10, 20 etc in case i want to insert other pages in the future 🙂 I hope this help.

Did you put your theme in a folder? example, your theme’s name is MyTheme, so in your wp-content < themes < myTheme. So in themes folder, you must see, Default, Classic and myTheme.
Also try to switch back to the default themes.

There are many plugins where you can create a contact form easily, I use this contact form and it works well, you can even know senders’data for example their ips, browsers, etc.

It happened to me before.
