I’m not sure, it seems like it was a WordPress email, but how do I know for sure? I assumed it was a UM email because it was sent to all UM members.
This was the message that was received by one of my members.

If changing it to Post Name is the only way to fix the issue, let me know when you’re on so we can swiftly look at it before reverting back.
Hi there,
https://alshamalshriners.org/?page_id=1408
This is the link to the members directory page. The site is currently live at the moment so I won’t be able to change it back to Post Name due to links directing to default permalinks, but you can have a look.
We typically leave the registration hidden from others, as it’s not needed for our website, but we’ll open it up for you to create your own account. Member directory is also hidden from the public.
The UM registration form works for creating new users, yes. Even with Post name permalink option.
To find the registration form, locate the membership tab on the main menu, then click registration.
Feel free to reply back with any questions.
Hi memoline!
Do you have an example of how you used Ultimate member? Just wanted to see how the plugin looks in action before taking a step forward.
Hi Nelson,
Thanks for the reply. That’s strange, because for my website, the redirect error is happening on every other permalink structure besides default. Is everyone else having this issue? What is their solution to it?
Hi lemsdesign,
I noticed that your thread says resolved.
I’m having redirect issues as well, but Ultimate Members’ free support takes forever to get a response. Could you tell me how you fixed it?
I also found in the advanced settings, “Current URL Method”? I changed it but I’m still getting redirect errors for Post Name permalinks.
Does any of the UM staff know how to remedy this?So then is there a way to work around this? Say, default permalinks for Ultimate Member but have Post Name permalinks for the rest of the pages? Is there such a thing that would allow me to make custom permalinks like that or is it not possible?
That worked! Thanks for the feedback Nelson! Now I just need to dabble with it to make the URLs look a tad nicer…
Hi there,
For common setting, we use Post Name (https://alshamalshriners.org/sample-post/”. For Shop, we use Custom Base “/shop”.
To clarify my first post, there are two issues that I currently see:
1. the profiles for each member comes up blank when you click on them from the Member Directory
2. Inside Users on WordPress, some of the imported info is not being shown (for example, address).
One of my colleagues said that all the CSV imported information is in there, but it’s not being shown on ultimate member which she believes is because of a synchronization issue between wordpress roles and ultimate member roles? Could it be that we need to spawn some pages in order for the information to be shown? Just throwing some ideas out there.
We used a third party plug in to import all of our existing users into your plugin. Thanks for the help.
