Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Lost access to wp-admin and all site pagesUpdate: Still having access issues. Looking for a bit of advice to get us up and running.
Site is: ribmountain.org (currently redirects to ribmountain.org/wp)
We had this site up and running, but then back at the time of my first post I must have inadvertently made changes in the admin dashboard. Something like described in the top section of this WP forum post: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL. I’ve tried the fixes described in the article with limited success.
Home and site URL have been changed to URL/wp in host cPanel settings.
Home page now comes up fine, with plugins functioning and menu items that call PDFs or external links working. But other pages do not load, returning the following error: “The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.” The worst is that attempts to log on to admin dashboard still come up empty – literally – returning a blank white page. Searches on WordPress forums, while uncovering numerous similar errors have not revealed a workable solution.
Any advice is most appreciated.

Thanks for your response. The three code lines mentioned in the section titled “If you have accidentally changed your WordPress site URL” were added to wp-login as suggested and nothing seemed to change at first. Somewhat later the home page started loading correctly. I can’t say for certain if it was that change that did it.
I still am not able to access any other pages called up by menus and, more importantly, still cannot access site controls at /wp-admin. Attempts to get to login page bring up a blank white browser window.
Site is ribmountain.org, and visitors are currently redirected to ribmountain.org/wp. Remaining pages should be available with menu links or at …/wp/page name, but are not.
Appreciate any advice.
