I am having similar problem. Exports OK, (5mb file) when it imports I it either crashes or get message: Unable to create directory
/mounted-storage/home34b/sub001/sc27956-WQEU/website/1/wp-content/uploads/2008/08.
Is its parent directory writable by the server?
Tried using IE and Opera. Any other way of uploading file/ I have a lot of work/content to load.
I had a similar problem, found out I was still logged in. Wouldn’t allow me past login screen. Went to page on site where I had a comment section, then logged out. Then I could log in. May be a different problem to yours tho.
