In reply to: Aggregate theme — featured slider slides not displayedFYI, turns out it was the ‘global bot statistic’ malware, having infected every index.php, home.php, page.php, footer.php, and template.php, as well as the .htaccess file. Sheesh.

In reply to: Aggregate theme — featured slider slides not displayedThats ok, its not a problem with the theme. Deactivating plugins made no change: either they were not the issue, or one was the culprit in what happened, and deactivating it did not reverse the problem. The problem was, four of the basic templates in the theme files were recently edited, by whom or what I don’t know (yet). Restoring them to their previous state resolved the immediate issue. The question remains, who or how? I’ll mark this as resolved and open a new topic on this issue, if I can’t find its already discussed.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Upload in Media is not working…why? This error seems specific to zymic. I finally just moved to another host, and this error does not occur. As that host has the same PHP version, 5.2.17, this is also not the issue.

In reply to: Upload in Media is not working…why?trimanme, can you be more specific, please, how you solved this, if you have? This issue is a serious show-stopper for hosting a wordpress site on zymic.
I now see that phpinfo on zymic shows php version 5.2.17. The minimum for current wordpress is 5.2.4. Could this be the root issue?
Thank you!
