Do you just get the scroll wheel?
When I post my gallery and connect it to the menu item as a page, (Im using the slideshow) it just scrolls the loading wheel.
However when I click on the link as a direct url ( /?show=gallery ) it shows. I cant get it to show within the page as itself. :/Same thing is happening to mine, but they are being downsized. My font looks broken and cracked and the images are all grainy.
If you click on the thumbs on the right of my website here you will see my issue.

All posts have a featured image set but there are no thumbnails as shown in the preview above, on any of the pages. I think Ive spent 3 hours troubleshooting this today. Also, how do I remove the Meta/Admin login from the footer widget? I have tried dropping the widget into the inactive box, but it still shows. I only have 2 widgets activated and that is ‘tags’ and ‘twitter widget pro’? Thanks! (fixed the last part. I guess you have to have *something* in there in order to not have the meta )

So I figured why not download it but when I try I get this error: *An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.”

I have the upgrade notice and then when I click on it it does the:
Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.9.2.zip.
Unpacking the update.
Verifying the unpacked files
Installing the latest version
Upgrading databaseand then it does nothing, the page says ‘Done’ but the top says:
An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.When I tried to do it again, the upgrade is hanging and the pages say “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.” and its been that way for a while….

Try searching for a non existant word and the type will extend over the left separator.

In reply to: Email notification SUDDENLY not working on commentsI am also having this issue. I set up a blog for my father in law who is in Israel for a month and is not very net savvy.
He asked me about how he would be notified when someone commented, and the feature does not seem to be working. I posted an entry on his behalf and commented on it myself, and have not been emailed a notification that there was a comment (the admin email is me).
So- I am frustrated that this feature does not seem to be working. I also think it would be great if we could put multiple forwarding emails in so that multiple people could be informed when a comment is posted.
Anyone have anything that is making notifications work?

I figured it out.The plugin IP Host Blocker is not working correctly. I installed it do to a flood of suspected hacks and then my above problems started happening. It also says I do not have permission to view my blacklist (in the settings)- so once I disabled it, my blog works fine.

In reply to: How do you stop a hacker flood?Watch out for the plugin IP Host Blocker though ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tz-host-blocker/ ) I installed it and it wouldnt let me view my site unless I logged in, plus it tells me I do not have permission to view my blacklist from the plugin settings so I figure Im on the list, somehow, as is everyone else. There is no contact info for the guy so, I had to disable it. :/
