That was exactly it. Thank you very much for your help – user error to be sure!
Looking forward to utilizing this plugin.
Thanks!
I’ve already tried disabling W3 Total Cache and that doesn’t seem to fix the problem – so I assume something else must be conflicting.
Good to know about google chrome – I’ll be looking for the update so I can test out the plugin some more.
thanks,
Jon

In reply to: [jQuery Masonry Image Gallery] Slideshow after clicking on imagesThanks for all your help.
I like what NextGen does but I definitely prefer the layout of your Jquery Masonry Image Gallery. I wish there was a way to only grab the carousel aspect of the gallery when you click on an image, but I couldn’t find in the plugin where that code is. I’ll continue to look for options. I’m currently using the plugin you suggested above and it’s a good replacement for the time being but not quite what I envisioned.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [jQuery Masonry Image Gallery] Slideshow after clicking on imagesWe want to keep your awesome Masonry Image gallery we currently run on here:
http://69.195.124.219/~reemades/
but we want the slideshow that happens on Kimberlygenevieve.com when you click on an image from the gallery. Does that make more sense?
We are trying to avoid a lightbox and just go to a carousel that appears on the page rather than an overlay. I’m just not quite sure what to search for.

In reply to: [jQuery Masonry Image Gallery] Slideshow after clicking on imagesI will do some tests with this carousel, sounds like a good option. Here is an example of what I am hoping to do:

See how when you click on an image from the gallery it goes into a carousel that isn’t an overlay?
Sorry my original wording was a bit all over the place 🙂

In reply to: [jQuery Masonry Image Gallery] Image Qualityi have tried both
the png made no difference so the ones now are jpg

In reply to: [jQuery Masonry Image Gallery] Image QualityThe image quality is still really low, and it is more and more noticeable the more photos we upload. More specifically, the sharpness goes way down and the color is pretty off as well (showing warmer tons than the original upload). Even with no compression and quality-boosting plugins, we are having no luck.
We have also decreased the image size uploaded which hasn’t helped either.
Do you have any other suggestions? The site is a photography portfolio so the image quality is really important to us! Thanks.

In reply to: [jQuery Masonry Image Gallery] Image QualityThe images just have a light quality degrade from the originals I upload, in particular the yellow cable car on the front page. I could put together an image with the side by side comparison when I get home
