    Hello!

I’m a new user of the WPTouch Mobile Plugin. I followed the instructions on adding the rejected users to the 3 sections in W3 total cache so that the plugin could function – and I’m no longer receiving the message the W3 total cache is conflicting.

I tested the mobile version on my phone and it worked! So I went to the next step of setting up a Mobile Menu page and configuring it in the settings. However, when I selected the particular page in WPTouch>Menus>Header Menu, the plugin no longer worked and my mobile device now goes to the normal desktop page. I tried setting it back to the other original menu and still no dice. I think the plugin is simply no longer working – despite working for a short time when I first installed it.

Also, if I hit the “preview theme” button, I simply get an “about:blank” page with no view.

    Here is the website: http://www.reemadesai.com

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Hi Jonathan, there was recently an update to Google Chrome that is causing issues with our Preview functionality, we’re aware of it and working to find a resolution.

As for your primary concern, we’re not aware of any conflicts with the W3 plugin that could be causing the issues you’re describing, but I would suggest disabling it while testing WPtouch and see if our plugin is working properly with caching turned off.

    Thanks, c.

    Thanks!

I’ve already tried disabling W3 Total Cache and that doesn’t seem to fix the problem – so I assume something else must be conflicting.

Good to know about google chrome – I’ll be looking for the update so I can test out the plugin some more.

    thanks,

    Jon

    Hi Jon,

Looking at your website on an iPhone on our end, we see the WPtouch theme. If you’re still seeing the desktop theme on your device, scroll down and look for the link to “Switch to Mobile Version”. Tap on the link and it should take you back to the WPtouch theme.

    Regards,

That was exactly it. Thank you very much for your help – user error to be sure!

Looking forward to utilizing this plugin.
