All sub-sites are back. Turns out it was the //opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/conf/httpd-app.conf file that was the issue. It was overiding the root .htaccess file in the wordpress root.
Using the AWS EC2 WordPress tutorial I dsicovered that the:
<Directory “/opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs”>
Options +MultiViews +FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride all
needs to be AllowOverride allThen I copied the prescribed Network setup code (wp-admin/network/setup.php) for the htaccess file into the httpd-app.conf file, overidding the existing settings in there. It was a gamble, but I was desperate by that stage!
So, subsite admin areas are working and the site themselves seem to be ok.
I guess this has come about as the Bitnami stack is based to run on a fresh multisite install and I kinda hacked it by launching it and then dragging a massive pre-existing multisite to sit in its place. However, I’m sure there are many people who would also be looking to migrate sites rather than start from scratch. It would be worth adding a note about the .htaccess issue in the docs. I just discovered that when I turn off our “S3Bubble Amazon S3 Video And Audio Streaming With Analytics & Uploader” plugin, the calendar arrows work again.

I’ve now been through the link you sent me but still no change.
It seems to be just the back and forward arrows. They just don’t do anything anymore.

We’ve been using the plugin a number of years now and nothing has really changed on the website. So I can’t think what it is.

Clearing the cache from the calendar list view seems to have bought it back. Clearing the cache from within the calendar edit page didn’t help initially though.

Managed to get the theme developer to fix the JavaScript.
However, I notice the responsive styles aren’t working for it either. I’ve tried to see why but can’t figure that out, maybe you can help us out with that?

In reply to: [Send Images to RSS] Small image not aligned rightHi Robin. I just did as you said and it works like a dream! Images aligned left or right in WP now do so in the mailchimp campaigns. even setting them as thumnail size makes them like that in mailchimp.
Will you be including this in the next release? I hope so as its now hard coded into my plugin file. Any new update will override it.

yes, there was a new set there that were automatically generated 2 days ago.
I have now deleted them and then deactivating and then reactivating Events Manager.
No change. Still no events.

Latest version of WP 3.9.1
The error message “Something went wrong saving your event to the index table. Please inform a site administrator about this.” Is a Events Manager error message. There are many posts here where other users refer to it.
I just switched themes and deactivated all plugins other than Events manager. No events re-appeared.

In reply to: Multisite Redirect loopOK. I think I’ve got it sorted, but still have to go through the sites to make sure all links work.
It does seem to be this ‘to www. or not to http://www.’ thing.
So I went back and removed the www. from DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE in wp-config.php
Then , in PHPMyAdmin, I went through WP-BLOGS and WP-OPTIONS and removed all of the www. from the urls. This included site_url, Home_url and file upload paths.
So all seems to be back online both front and back end.
I quite like a full www. address, so its a bit of a shame. But at least its back working. Plus, if you use a link which has the www. prefix, it just redirects to the site anyhow.

I had this working in an earlier version of the theme, but its not working now. The two versions of the header.php theme files look significantly different. So I can’t seem to replicate what I did in the old header.php file I have into the new.
I’ve tried the above using a header.php file in a child theme. But no change.

I have the same problem. I get no “Your message has been sent, thank you.” message after submitting. The contact page just refreshes.
